Charging Stations – CD Projekt in Warsaw

Charging stations for CD Projekt in Warsaw.

The garage project included the construction of 20 electric vehicle charging stations of 11 kW 3f each, expandable to 22kW. The system allows expansion to a target of 130 AC stations.

The project involves the use of Smart Charging Network functionality and Active Load Balancing functionality.

Smart Charging Network was used to limit the maximum power available to a group of chargers. The project envisages the creation of four separate groups of chargers – one group within each floor, which corresponds to the distribution of power to the chargers relative to the electrical switchboards

Active Load Balancing is a function that allows the charging station to automatically divide the available power to the outlets in use within a single group.

Using the Modbus TCP/IP protocol, the station analyzes signals from external sources – smart electricity meters mounted on the main buses in the RGNN switchgear. It is then able to dynamically manage the available power in the outlets based on the current use of electricity and the maximum capacity of the connection. This prevents overloading the electrical system of the entire building and controls the power supply at peak charging times.
